The Atrocity Archive was quite good. I'm looking forward to The Jennifer Morgue. I'm also going to try The Hidden Family again; I bought a copy, only to bounce off the opening paragraphs so hard I couldn't stand to read any further. Given that I had the same reaction to Stephenson, and finally swallowed hard and wallowed through the trite opening only to discover he had a brain after all, I might see if I can give Charlie the same respect.
