The accent in Hawaii...
May. 19th, 2009 01:20 pm... is ugly. Worse even than the Utah accent.
The vowels are very flat, they are pushed foward, and fast. It sounds like people are barking out the words.
It's sad. If there is any place where an American English accent should be pretty and melodic, it should be here.
